On February 5, 2026, Sun Pharma launched SUNday, a skin cancer awareness campaign grounded in a simple but powerful message: “Every Day is SUNday.” At its heart, the initiative is about ensuring that education, encouragement, and connection are available for patients not just occasionally, but every single day.
Through its collaboration with Skin Cancer Champions and other skin cancer communities, Sun Pharma is helping elevate real patient voices. By listening to live experiences and learning directly from those affected by non-melanoma skin cancers, the campaign reflects what matters most to patients and caregivers navigating diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
“In my roles as a physician, academic, and advocate, I’ve seen how important it is to advance thoughtful, patient-centered approaches to skin cancer treatment” says Emily Ruiz, MD, MPH, FAAD, Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. “Our patients are inspired and grateful to have their voice’s amplified and to share authentic stories that bring patient perspectives to the forefront.”
Skin Cancer Champions Community serves as a free resource hub for individuals impacted by non-melanoma skin cancers, including patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The platform provides a welcoming space to connect with others, ask questions, and share experiences within a supportive and understanding community.
